CLASS AFLOAT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
Successful Class Afloat applicants may apply to the Class Afloat Foundation for scholarships. Established in 2012, the Class Afloat Foundation operates under the direction of a board comprised of former students, administrators and parents. The Foundation operates as an independent body maintaining an arms length relationship to the school in all matters relating to setting scholarship criteria, assessment of applicants and making awards. The Foundation is a Canadian registered charity dedicated to supporting young people who want to make a difference on our planet.
Applicants for the Class Afloat Scholarship are assessed for their intellectual and personal achievement in terms of leadership, commitment to volunteer service, physical vigour and academic success. The number and amount of each scholarship award will be determined according to the success of the Foundation at meeting its annual fundraising targets. As a guide, scholarship awards are likely to fund up to half the annual Class Afloat full year tuition fee.
The Foundation has made a commitment to raising funds for awards based on academic and personal distinction, but also for candidates that have a demonstrated need for financial aid to participate in Class Afloat 2016-17.
Please visit the Class Afloat Foundation website for more information and to download the application form.
Application Deadline: March 15, 2016
The Class Afloat Foundation will announce the winning candidates by April 30, 2016.
