ALL GRADES are expressed in percentages. This allows receiving jurisdictions to convert to G.P.A. and letter grades specific to their systems. The following table is a guideline only and may not apply to your system. It is, however, a generally accepted representation.

80-89	A	3.5 to 3.9	Very Strong
70-79	B	3.0 to 3.4	Above Average
60-69	C	2.5 to 2.9	Satisfactory/Average
50-59	D	2.0 to 2.4	Marginal

NOVA SCOTIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION considers 50% a passing grade and the Ministry of Education of Quebec considers 60% a passing grade. Please refer to the jurisdiction of registration when evaluating the pass/fail status of a course.
